I have always loved storytelling. When I was little I devoured books, and when I ran out of things to read, I wrote my own stories. I dreamt of being able to fly into a magical world, or step back in time to Tudor England. When I discovered costume design, I knew I had found a craft that combines everything I love: history, textiles, magic and storytelling.
Through my work, I try to bring that magic alive again - transport people to wonderful places, create an enchanting memory that stays with you forever and most importantly, tell an inspiring story.
I love to help give a touch of magic to any event or performance. If you need costumes of any kind, please get in touch! Most recently, I have dressed waiting staff for fabulous themed evenings at Sir John Soane’s Museum and the characterful 2 Temple Place, London. Two Tudor costumes created for the Much Hadham Forge Museum, Hertfordshire, are touring historic houses around England.
Thank you for reading my blog, I hope you enjoy it!
